		<description><![CDATA[RN PROF PRAC LADDER - NICU WMC<br/><br/><b>Department: </b>NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE<br/><b>Schedule: </b>Fulltime<br/><b>Shift:</b> Rotating<br/><b>Hours: </b>36<br/><b>Grade: </b>N92<br/><b>Starting Pay Range: </b>$21.23-$31.36<br/><b>Job Details:</b><br/>*<br/><br/>QUALIFICATIONS for RN I:<br/><br/><br/>·         Based on primary state of residency and in accordance with current Virginia Board of Nursing Regulations, must be licensed or eligible to practice pending licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia with either a: Multi-state license, under the Nurse Licensure Compact OR Single-state license, valid in Virginia only<br/><br/><br/>·         Competent in providing care based on the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological stages of human growth and development<br/><br/><br/>·         Competent to provide care to patients utilizing the nursing process<br/><br/><br/>·         Must have a reliable means of phone communication with hospital<br/><br/><br/>·         Criminal Background checks required for all levels and include:<br/><br/><br/>·         VA State police<br/><br/><br/>·         3rd Party Background Check<br/><br/><br/>·         FBI Fingerprinting for Behavioral Health and Float Pool<br/><br/><br/>·         Central Registry for Behavioral Health, Healthy Families, Float Pool and Maternal/Child and /or Family Birthing staff<br/><br/><br/>·         WV State Police fingerprinting for NWV Home Health and HMH Staff<br/><br/>If an RNA beginning employment as an RN I, or promoting to an RN I from any VH position, must secure:<br/><br/>-         Eligibility to Test Letter (or interim phone primary source verification and documentation of same by VH Nurse Recruitment, while awaiting letter to come in the mail) from the Virginia Board of Nursing if a Virginia resident or Non-Compact state resident.  (If resides in a Compact state other than Virginia, cannot commence employment as an RNA; must first secure home state's Compact license with multi-state privileges and may then commence RN employment as an RN I.)<br/><br/>-         Two Letters of Recommendation from Clinical Instructors, either the original letter on official school letterhead by or direct e-mail to RN Recruiter or designee<br/><br/>-         Official Final Copy of Professional School of Nursing Transcript, to be mailed directly from the School of Nursing to the Office of Nurse Recruitment<br/><br/>QUALIFICATIONS FOR RN II:<br/><br/><br/>·         Meets all requirements of a RN I and<br/><br/><br/>·         Advancement to this level requires a minimum of 1872 hours of RN experience and completion of annual performance evaluation<br/><br/><br/>·         Full time RNs with a BSN or MSN are eligible to apply to this level with 936 hours of RN experience and a completed interim performance evaluation<br/><br/>QUALIFICATIONS FOR RN III:<br/><br/><br/>·         Meets all requirements of a RN II and<br/><br/><br/>·         BSN or MSN preferred<br/><br/><br/>·         Advancement to this level requires a minimum of 5616 hours of RN experience]]></description>
