QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be a Neonatal Resuscitation Provider.
· Registered nurse with a current licensure in the State of Virginia.
· Current licensure as a nurse practitioner in the State of Virginia.
· Eligible to sit for neonatal certification with the certification successfully obtained within one year of employment.
· Minimum of three years of experience as a registered nurse in a Level 3/Sub-specialty neonatal intensive care unit.
· Competent to provide neonatal assessments and provide the care and treatment indicated.
· Delivery of family focused care.
· Provide education to neonatal intensive care unit staff and other health care professionals as indicated.
· Works as a team player with patients, physicians, families, staff and peers.
· Criminal Background checks include:
o VA State Police
o 3rd party Background Check
o FBI fingerprinting for Behavioral Health and Float Pool
o Central Registry for Behavioral Health, Healthy Families, Float Pool, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Maternal/Child and/or Family Birthing Staff, Pediatrics, and Women’s Care Center - WMH
o WV State Police fingerprinting for NWV Home Health and HMH
