Job Details:

· Current licensure as a professional Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia required.
· Current or provisional licensure as a Nurse Practitioner, in the category of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, in the Commonwealth of Virginia required.
· Current certification from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists required. Exceptions, in accordance with the current Commonwealth of Virginia's Board of Nursing Statutes and Regulations: If licensed on or before 5/8/02, in lieu of certification, may complete biennially at least 40 hours of continuing education in the area of nurse anesthesia that is approved by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. or If granted provisional licensure status by the Virginia Board of Nursing, exempt from this requirement until the release of the results of the first national certifying examination for which the pending CRNA is eligible following application.
· Successful completion of the credentialing process through the WMC or WMH Department of Medical Staff Affairs required.
· A minimum of 2 years' experience of recent relevant practicing as a CRNA experience strongly preferred.
